The romantic castle estate on the shores of Lake Thun offers a refined setting for weddings in a unique historic ambience.
For weddings, we now offer an all-inclusive package that includes the venue from getting ready through to the reception, floral decorations, and personalised support.
Schloss Oberhofen ist als Ziviltraulokal registriert. Die Anmeldung sowie die Planung läuft direkt über das Zivilstandeskreis Oberland West. Die Trauung findet jeweils im Sommersaal statt und dauert je nach Vereinbarung mit dem Zivilstandesamt 20–30 min. Über die Schlossterrasse verlassen Sie das Schloss und haben die Möglichkeit anschliessend im Park den Moment mit Erinnerungsfotos festzuhalten.

Die Ziviltrauung finden jeweils am Freitagnachmittag ab 13:30 Uhr statt.
Das Trauungslokal (Sommersaal) bietet Platz für maximal 50 Gäste nebst dem anwesenden Paar und Trauzeuginnen oder -zeugen. Individuelle Wünsche zur Trauung müssen direkt mit dem Zivilstandesamt besprochen werden.

Oberhofen is located on the sunny side of Lake Thun and is easily accessible by car, bus, or boat.
Yes, civil ceremonies are offered on selected Friday afternoons during summer, organized by the local registry office (Zivilstandsamt Oberland West). The civil ceremonies take place in the gardenroom, in slots of 30 minutes. Reservations can be made up to one year in advance directly with the registry office.
As soon as you have received your booking confirmation from the Registry Office, we would be delighted to take your booking for an aperitif.

The castle includes a museum, so general areas remain open to the public during opening hours. However, your booked spaces are clearly separated and reserved for your event.

The booked premises will be available for setting up 1 hours before the start of the event, subject to agreement.
Technical equipment such as projectors, screens, loudspeakers or sound systems can be hired externally on request and will be invoiced accordingly.
Decoration is generally the responsibility of the organiser; we are happy to provide recommendations on request. Please note our guidelines when planning.
The set up and final cleaning fee final cleaning will be charged at cost (CHF 95.– per hour).
In general this is for the garden room, historical dining room and terrace 2 h.

The rental price covers the agreed duration. Each additional started hour costs CHF 200.– extra.
